It’s extremely easy to find as you can follow the tourist signs which are brown and white. For the racing just look for the ones that have a picture of a horse and rider. The signs are visible on all major roads into Newcastle including the A19 and A1.
If coming by train the closest station is Regent Centre Metro Station located 2 miles from the racecourse. here is a shuttle bus available from this station on Fridays and weekend racedays only. Newcastle central train station is a 15 min taxi ride away. Plenty of taxi’s are available from outside the station.
In reality you really can’t miss it no matter which direction you come from, and by what means of transport you arrive. Newcastle airport is just 6 miles away and if helicopters can land at the racecourse itself. You need to contact the course before hand if you wish to land.

The racecourse is open 9am until 5pm Monday to Friday with varying hours on racedays, weekends and event days. The staff are amazingly friendly as we pretty much all are here in the North.
